Pressing the pair of reading glasses up her nose, Eijun grinned widely up at her girlfriend with what she assumed was a very suave and sophisticated look.

“How do I look, Chris-senpai?”

Giggling softly behind her hand, Chris reached that hand out and cupped at Eijun’s jaw. Bending down, she placed a soft kiss to the tip of her nose and watched as Eijun’s face light up in embarrassment.

“Like you’re not quite old enough to suit those; try again in a couple years.”

Pressing her fingers through Miyuki’s hair, knocking off the drenched baseball cap in the process, Chris bent down to claim a firm kiss.

Even as the rain soaked through her sweater, Miyuki only found herself responding in kind. Her fingers came up to tug at her collar, ensuring Chris and her lips stayed in place.

It wasn’t every day that Miyuki got to see this forceful response from her girlfriend; and all this over a little friendly teasing about how Chris didn’t kiss her enough. As Chris pressed her up against the back of the dug out shelter, she made a mental note to consider teasing Chris about such things more often~

When Miyuki had come to Seidou, there had been a hero. His presence felt immense and the thrill of watching him play never decreased, no matter where he stood. There was confidence in each catch, logic in each play and the sight of his smile when a pitch was perfectly executed was radiant…

However, when Chris’s injury stole that radiance, when he’d had to walk away and there was a void left at the plate, it was then that Miyuki came to realize that even heroes aren’t immune from extinction.
